Dear Diary,
Yesterday the BHE and I went for my sonogram. It was pretty cool, there is a baby in there and its little heart is beating like a champ and everything. I'm pretty sure it was flipping us off, though. Maybe that's because the BHE said that it looks like a dinosaur. Anyway, it was just insane to see it. Like, holy shit, there is a person in there. It really blows my mind.
Anyway, little Buster (that's what the BHE calls it) is due on September 28. A very fine time of year here in City B, weather-wise. Also, Teacher's Day in Taiwan.
I promise to think of other things to talk about besides my pregnancy. Like my recent craving for fruity pepples. Oh wait, I'm pretty sure that's related...

I found you through Ashley's Closet and have been reading for some time now. I hope that you will tell us all the crazy shit that pregnancy does to you. My youngest turns 6 this year and some insane part of me wants another one, but maybe I can live vicariously through your stories.

I have not consumed very much alcohol in my life, but I plan to take it up so that you can live vicariously through me while you are pregnant. I will let you know how it goes.

The way I saw it, it wasn't a little human. It was a fish of some sort. That would become a human. Eventually. So I was like a fish tank. Or some kind of giant petri dish.
Go ahead and talk about your pregnancy as much as you want--it's your blog. And come visit me once in a while for adventures in questionable parenting. The message is that if I can do it, anyone can.
I think some Dear Baby posts with some Fluffy insights on what to expect on the outside would be funny. By the way, they can't hear you when you *type* swear words.
I vote for my birthday as the date of entry. Hear that, little Biz Bud?
