The contractions felt like tightening with a little bit of pain (I told the doctor it was about a 2 on a scale of 1-10). It was definately Braxton-Hicks contractions and not early labor or anything.
I'm sorry the heartburn/nausea is getting to you. Hopefully the baby dropping (which should happen soonish) will help but then again, what do I know? This is my first kid too. :) I think I have some sort of acid reflux-y thing going on because sometimes I get a burning feeling in my throat. Whatever it is, it's not fun.
Hang in there. We're almost done and then all we'll have to worry about are babies (yikes).
